Premium intelligence

What is your IP actually worth?

The IPDALI IP Valuator turns trademarks, patents, copyrights, and software into defensible value ranges. It runs three independent methodologies against global benchmarks, so the number you walk into a negotiation with isn't a guess - it's a range with receipts.

  • 3valuation engines run on every report
  • 200+markets covered in benchmarks
  • ~60smedian time from submit to report
How it works

Three engines. One defensible range.

Every valuation triangulates across three independent methodologies - the same ones used by professional IP appraisers. The final report shows you a low / base / high range plus each engine's individual estimate, so you can walk into a conversation knowing exactly where the number came from.

01
Income approach

Royalty Relief

We estimate what a licensee would pay to use your IP - then discount the projected royalty stream back to present value. Industry royalty bands come from global licensing deals calibrated to your jurisdiction.

  • Applicable royalty % (benchmarked by industry)
  • Revenue projection horizon (default 5 years)
  • Country-specific discount rates
02
Market approach

Market Multiple

We pull comparable transactions - licensing deals, acquisitions, investor-led valuations - from IP markets worldwide and apply the median multiple to your revenue or EBITDA profile.

  • Revenue or EBITDA multiple
  • Deal comparables sourced from global markets
  • Industry & IP-type matching
03
Replacement cost

Cost Approach

We calculate what it would cost today to reproduce the IP from scratch - R&D hours, filing costs, brand build, and obsolescence adjustments. A conservative floor for founders and negotiators.

  • Developer / creator hours × local rates
  • Filing + prosecution costs by jurisdiction
  • Obsolescence & depreciation factors
The report

Built for negotiations, not dashboards.

Every valuation ends in a shareable report - web, mobile, and PDF - that pairs hard numbers with an analyst narrative you can read out loud in a meeting.

Questions, answered

Before you run your first one.

Is this a professional appraisal?

No. The Valuator produces indicative estimates based on the data you provide and our global market benchmarks. It's designed to anchor conversations - not replace a court-admissible appraisal by a licensed valuer. When you need formal certification, use the report as a starting point for your appraiser.

Which IP types are supported?

Trademarks, patents, copyrights, and software assets. The engines adapt their inputs - royalty bands for trademarks, R&D hours for patents, replacement cost for software - so the number reflects the asset, not a generic template.

Where do the benchmarks come from?

Our benchmark database aggregates licensing deals, investor-led valuations, and public transactions from markets worldwide - supplemented by industry data from Eulerpool and SimFin where relevant. We weight the most relevant comparables by jurisdiction, then regional, then global.

How long does a valuation take?

Most valuations complete in under a minute from submit. You'll see live progress, an analyst narrative, and a recommendations section as soon as the engines finish - then you can download the PDF or re-run with tweaked inputs.

Can I export the report?

Yes - every completed valuation includes a branded PDF download. Premium plans also include CSV exports of the underlying benchmark data and re-run credits for scenario analysis.

What does it cost?

Your first valuation is free. After that, valuations are bundled with the Premium plan, which also includes the full DALI, cohort programs, and priority support. No per-report fees, no credit packs.
